JPAT’s experience Having reconditioned torque converters in-house for more than 30 years, our staff have an extensive knowledge base to draw upon. JPAT’s specialist equipment To ensure torque converters in our care are reconditioned to OEM tolerances or better we use specialist machinery and equipment. These include: • a TCRS Auto-Weld Aligner as used by many OEMs for re-welding converters • a Bal Tec radial riveting machine, as used by OEMs to insert rivets • a TCRS leak test machine, to insure that welds are air tight • a Guyson Minimignon shot blast cabinet for a professional finish • two Schenck balancing machines have been adapted for the task of balancing converters (a Schenck 2530 twin shaft, the other a M641 single shaft) • a converter lock-up piston bonder JPAT’s quality assurance Our company aim is to provide a service that is second to none, at a competitive price.
